A Look Into July 2018

Hope everyone had a good 4th.  I will not light any sparklers to the “inconvenience” of a holiday being on a Wednesday, as I can think back to days I have had to be up from dawns early light until twilights last gleaming for a days work and time off was simply an afterthought.

The Twin Ports Open was another success for all who made the trip up there, results can be found in the links below.  For those that missed out, there will be more opportunities to escape the ramparts and explore the land of the free.  Set your sights to Northfield, MN where the OleChess Summer Tournament will be held in a couple weeks.  At the end of the month, the US Open will take place in Madison, WI this year, good luck to all those competing.

If travel is not your your thing this month, the Chess Castle will host quality events starting with Exerciser Quads tomorrow and the final Saturday in July.  A Think will take place the following weekend, and some variety with quicker paced events the next weekend.  This has been your Look Into July 2018, gallantly streaming into your email inbox.  Thank you for your time.
