SCA: About

The SCA, School Chess Association, represents the largest scholastic chess following in the state of Minnesota.  Much is owed to the SCA in providing a solid base for children to enjoy the game of chess.  The SCA has a primary focus on unrated chess, but has included rated chess for older children, and even adult play.  The merit point system created by the School Chess Association provides kids to have attainable goals as they continue to play in more and more tournaments.  More information can be found on their website, http://www.schoolchess.org/
